Healthy Connections, LLC is a full-service mental health clinic that serves all ages, that includes an affinity with those who have autism. We are looking for compassionate, understanding, dedicated Autism Support person who can assist with giving the utmost care to our autism clients and their families.

Purpose of the Position: 

This position will work in coordination with one of our experienced therapists and support staff to engage and support our clients with autism and other developmental disabilities. The position will also be required to complete basic administrative work to support the agency and its clients. 

Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities 

  1. Work directly with clients and in collaboration with an additional staff member, to support client developmental needs as outlined by a formal care plan.  
  1. Provide emotional, behavioral, and physical support to clients. 
  1. Identify and document client progress, challenges, and additional needs for agency and health/medical records. 
  1. Support clients in variety of physical settings that may include the office setting, school, social, and community environments. 
  1. Support the Healthy Connections team as needed to ensure a productive environment.

Education & Experience 

  • High school diploma 
  • 18 years of age or older 
  • Have 1-2 years of college coursework in majors such as education, psychology, human development, social work, or similar field  

Working Conditions and Physical Demands 

  • Be able to move 75+ pounds 
  • Have own transportation and auto insurance (travel will be reimbursed) 
  • Be physically able to move across and within multiple environments (sit on the floor, climb steps, etc.)
